Since its inception, John and his partners have grown Lee & Associates to a 35+ person, full service real estate firm. John previously worked at Grubb & Ellis Company for 6 years as a transaction services professional within the firm’s Industrial Services Group. During his tenure at Grubb & Ellis, John established a strong track record for success in representing the interest of tenants and landlords in Chicago as well as on a national basis. Career History / Professional Recognition John has been involved in transactions valued in excess of $585,000,000. As a result of his efforts, he was awarded the Grubb & Ellis “Rookie of the Year” award in 1997 and was a finalist for the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers’ Frank Mahoney Award of Excellence in 2000. In 2008, John was named as a CoStar “Power Broker” for his efforts in leasing properties on behalf of his clients. While focusing on representing the interests of tenants in the marketplace, John has assisted a number of clients in establishing their real estate and related business decision-making processes. Affiliations / Education John graduated from Loyola Academy in Wilmette, IL and went on to attend Miami University (Ohio), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Marketing/Finance. He is affiliated with a variety of organizations, including the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers and The Traffic Club of Chicago. |
