In July of 2002, he and nine other industrial brokers from four different companies formed Lee & Associates. Prior to that, he had been with Colliers since 1989 as a Senior Vice President. In 1992,1993,1994 and 1998, Jim was the Top Industrial Producer of the Year at Colliers in Chicago. Previous to Colliers Jim had been with Grubb & Ellis and CMD Realty and started his career with William Kritt & Company in 1973. While at Grubb & Ellis, Jim was a Senior Marketing Consultant in the Chicago office. Senior Marketing Consultant was a title that had been earned by only 10% of the Grubb & Ellis commercial brokers nationwide. In 1984, Jim was the Grubb & Ellis Chicago Broker of the Year and top industrial broker in 1985, 1986 and 1988. Affiliations / Education Jim serves as Trustee of the Union League Boys and Girls Club, Director of the Northern Illinois University Foundation and is an adult leader with the Boy Scouts of America having two sons active as Eagle Scouts. |
