As an industrial corridor grows in northwest Georgia, a vast stretch of rural land is catching the eyes of dozens of developers and even state officials.

Georgia's Department of Natural Resources and The Aubrey Corp. are in active negotiations over selling 14,100 acres to the state, said Jim Ramseur, a partner at Lee & Associates, which is marketing the land for the owner.
