Matt Roos advises clients on complex industrial real estate assignments throughout the Greenville-Spartanburg region and select North Carolina markets. His work includes acquisitions, dispositions, landlord representation, tenant advisory, and site selection across a range of industrial product types, including manufacturing, distribution, flex, and IOS.
He has represented a diverse client base, from closely held companies to publicly traded corporations, including Fortune 500 organizations and leading firms listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Matt is consistently entrusted with high-profile and sensitive assignments, reflecting a reputation built on sound judgment, discretion, and a highly tailored level of service. His practice is relationship-driven and informed by a deep understanding of the strategic and operational considerations that shape real estate decisions at the executive level.
Prior to joining Lee & Associates, Matt held a senior leadership role with OneSpartanburg, Inc., the 2021 ACCE National Chamber of the Year. As Vice President of Investor Relations, he worked closely with executive leadership and a broad coalition of corporate, nonprofit, and government stakeholders to advance an integrated model for business growth, economic development, and tourism. This experience continues to inform his perspective on corporate location strategy, labor dynamics, and regional competitiveness.
Matt serves on the Spartanburg Community College Foundation Board, where he supports initiatives centered on workforce development and economic growth. His involvement, including engagement with the Spark Center, provides a direct connection to the region’s evolving talent pipeline and training capabilities. This vantage point enhances his ability to advise companies pursuing location or expansion decisions in the Upstate, offering a holistic and integrated perspective that connects real estate strategy with workforce readiness and long-term operational success.

Outside of work, Matt is relationship-oriented, competitive, and intellectually curious. He participates in a weekly table tennis group that brings together professionals ranging from CEOs to general contractors. Earlier in life, he traveled to more than 26 countries before the age of 21, lived with monks, and has played with two bands… the first one the result of someone losing a bet.
