Grant currently serves as senior director for the national retail broker division at Lee & Associates - Houston. He specializes in tenant representation with a strong national focus in the restaurant industry, assisting with site selection and market penetration for several national and regional clients, as well as his continued work as a retail leasing agent for multiple landlords throughout the Houston market.

In Houston and South Texas, Grant actively represents Darden Restaurants (Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, Cheddar’s, The Capital Grill, Capital Burger, Seasons 52, Eddie V’s, Yard House and Bahama Breeze), Acme Oyster House, Eureka, YMCA and serves as the national master broker for Voodoo Doughnuts, to name a few. He was an instrumental role in the Houston market roll-out for several high-profile national companies, most recently Shake Shack, MOD Pizza, LongHorn Steakhouse and Voodoo Doughnuts.

In addition to tenant representation, Grant also assisted with the development of several retail centers, procuring/negotiating the land sites and handled leasing for each development, most notably The Market at Crenshaw, a 230,000 square foot power center anchored by Burlington, Academy, Party City, Tuesday Morning and Olive Garden, as well as Southern Colony, a power center located in Lufkin, Texas, which includes Academy and Burlington as anchors.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Before Lee & Associates, Grant worked for Transwestern, Page Partners and The Weitzman Group in Houston, Texas. While at Transwestern, Grant served as senior vice president for the Houston Retail Division, oversaw the tenant representation group and founded Transwestern Restaurant Advisors. Several notable clients during his tenure included J Alexander’s, The Children’s Place, Bombshells, Walk Ons, MOD Pizza, Shake Shack, Earl’s, Phillip’s 66, T-Mobile, Willie’s Icehouse, Village M.D., Amegy, Thai Express, Cane Rosso, Cyclone Anaya’s, Define, Lidia’s Italy, Velvet Taco, Gloria’s Mexican Grill, Fuddruckers, Gus’s Fried Chicken, Houlihan’s, Marco’s Pizza, Midas, Memorial Hermann, Ocean Prime, The Original Pancake House and more.

During his tenure with Page Partners, he was involved with some of Houston’s most high-profile lifestyle/mixed use developments such as City Centre at Town & Country, La Centerra at Cinco Ranch and High St. in the Galleria. In addition to project leasing, he specialized in tenant representation, co-founded Page Partners Restaurant Group and was a member of several national committees within Chainlinks. While with The Weitzman Group, Grant specialized in project leasing building a portfolio containing over 2,000,000 square feet. During his tenure there, he leased several notable grocery anchored/power centers for Weitzman and third-party clients such as Heitman, DRA, Simon, HEB and several regional developers.

Licensed Real Estate Broker for the State of Texas, Member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Texas Restaurant Association and the Houston Restaurant Association.  Grant was awarded by the Houston Business Journal as a Heavy Hitter and was nationally recognized as one of Tomorrow’s Leaders by Real Estate Forum.
