Archives of Us 84 Second Avenue Debut in East Village
Lee & Associates NYC Brings LA Matcha Brand Archives of Us to 84 Second Avenue for NYC Debut
Commercial Observer reports that Milly Cheung and Jordan Cohen of Lee & Associates NYC represented Los Angeles-based matcha cafe Archives of Us in its first New York City lease, a 2,400-square-foot retail deal at Highpoint Property Group’s 84 Second Avenue in Manhattan’s East Village. The asking rent was $125 per square foot. Noam Aziz and Carson Shahrabani of Meridian Capital Group represented the landlord. The space, between East Fourth and Fifth streets, comes fully fitted from previous tenant Nai — a tapas concept from chef Ruben Rodriguez that closed in November 2025 after 15 years. Founded by Nick Kim in April 2025, Archives of Us has built a distinctive matcha concept on the West Coast and is now positioning the East Village location as the launch pad for its New York presence.
