Italian steakhouse Pietro\u2019s has signed a major 890 Second Avenue lease<\/strong> agreement in Midtown East, securing a 15-year retail space in one of Manhattan\u2019s most desirable corridors. The deal brings the nearly century-old restaurant back to New York City after its previous Midtown location closed, reaffirming the strength of Pietro\u2019s lease Midtown East<\/strong> and the appeal of 890 Second Avenue for restaurant and retail tenants.<\/p>\n

Pietro\u2019s, which first opened in 1932 at\u00a0232 East 43rd Street<\/b>, has signed a 15-year lease to move into 5,022 square feet on the ground floor and lower level of\u00a0Stellar Management<\/a><\/b>\u2019s\u00a0890 Second Avenue<\/b>, according to tenant broker Cory Gahr of Lee & Associates<\/a>\u00a0NYC<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The lease agreement was facilitated by Lee & Associates NYC and Cushman & Wakefield.<\/span> Pietro\u2019s plans to move into the new space in June and aims to reopen by August.<\/span> Stellar Management, the building’s owner, expressed enthusiasm about hosting the restaurant in the Turtle Bay neighborhood, highlighting the area’s vibrant mix of businesses, residences, and landmarks<\/span>.<\/p>\n
