For New York\u2019s office tenants, the coworking sector is a factor to be reckoned with, especially as it has grown to accommodate tenants of all sizes. This was among the themes sounded in Lee & Associates NYC\u2019s<\/strong> recent leasing symposium, which brought together a panel of experts from a variety of disciplines.<\/p>\n

Coworking was \u201cinitially viewed as a momentary blip,\u201d said CEO Eliot Spitzer<\/strong> of Spitzer Properties. \u201cPeople looked at WeWork and said, \u2018oh, we\u2019ve seen this before.\u2019\u201d However, he pointed out, WeWork has since become \u201carguably the largest lessor of space in the city.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lee NYC\u2019s Dennis Someck<\/strong><\/a> and Alan Friedman<\/strong><\/a> represented their firm during the symposium, where participants also included Pryor Cashman\u2019s Bradley Kaufman<\/strong>, Ceros\u2019 Simon Berg<\/strong> and ENV\u2019s David Rush<\/strong>, among others.
