According to Seattle-based\u00a0<strong>Candice Chevaillier<\/strong>, principal of\u00a0<strong>Lee &amp; Associates<\/strong>\u00a0Northwest\u2019s multifamily team, and\u00a0<strong>Don Flanigan<\/strong>, a SVP at Lee, the industry wants to roar back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe didn\u2019t break this,\u201d says Flanigan. \u201cThe system was in place and functioning very well, everything considered. There\u2019s a tremendous amount of dry capital on the sidelines waiting for opportunistic deals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is especially true in\u00a0<strong>multifamily<\/strong>, which is Flanigan and Chevaillier\u2019s bailiwick. \u201cThere\u2019s a bid\/ask gap right now,\u201d says Chevaillier. \u201cSellers don\u2019t want to recognize that anything has changed, and buyers want those opportunistic deals.
