The Tacoma location will combine coworking memberships \u2014 which includes private offices, conference rooms and collaborative workspaces \u2014 with integrated child care services for kids ages 2\u00bd to 6. The child care can accommodate up to 40 participants at a time.<\/p>\n<p>Lee &amp; Associates brokers Harrison Laird and John Bauder represented building owner Surge Co. in the transaction, while Briana Hickey of Neil Walter Co. represented the tenant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content\" data-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cThis is the kind of tenant that brings energy and purpose to a historic building,\u201d Laird told the Business Journal. \u201cSheWorks aligns with the evolving needs of today\u2019s workforce.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"content\" data-type=\"paragraph\">The 57,600-square-foot mixed-use building is slated to open in two phases. The first phase, on floors 2 through 4, includes restaurant, retail and offices space, and is expected to open this year.
