Our aim in attending these events is to create exposure to our company and what it offers to college graduates, entering the workforce. This year, we brought two of our newest commercial real estate team members, as our offices\u2019 representatives.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8364 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/03\/Career-Fair-Photo-Rob-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"234\" height=\"311\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/03\/Career-Fair-Photo-Rob-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/03\/Career-Fair-Photo-Rob-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/03\/Career-Fair-Photo-Rob.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 234px) 100vw, 234px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Training For Success<\/h2>\n<p>In July 2018, Lee &amp; Associates Commercial Real Estate Services, Orange launched a 6-month training program to it\u2019s newest recruits and commercial real estate industry leaders. The program was designed to recruit and mentor a new commercial real estate professional in the Lee University tradition. \u00a0For (25) weeks the training program consisted of training, coaching, mentoring, and ultimately, practicing.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8356 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/03\/recruiting-graphic-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"364\" height=\"363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/03\/recruiting-graphic-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/03\/recruiting-graphic-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/03\/recruiting-graphic-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/03\/recruiting-graphic-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/03\/recruiting-graphic.jpg 1800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 364px) 100vw, 364px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Likewise, this training program was created, in part, to avert the harsh reality that (7) out of (10) new hires, within the commercial real estate industry, fail during their first year. Allen Buchanan, SIOR, Principal, and Shareholder and Bob Sattler, President, Managing Principal, and Shareholder led the training program. Buchanan noted that the training programs had one goal in mind.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want new talent to obtain autonomy and mastery of the commercial real estate industry,\u201d Buchannan said.<\/p>\n<h2>Onboarding The Future<\/h2>\n<p>As of March 2019, (3) runners\/trainees remain, and of them are working their way into becoming associates, and hopefully, on to principals: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/team\/connor-howland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Connor Howland<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/team\/robert-degen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Robert Degen<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/team\/ryan-magarian\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ryan Magarian<\/a>.\u00a0 ? This summer, we are looking to onboard (5) interns! We are focused on those bright individuals who have a competitive spirit, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills. These qualities are key ingredients that enable a candidate for continued success in commercial real estate. A college degree and some sales experience are preferred, but necessary.
