That\u2019s the largest percentage gain of any of OC\u2019s 34 cities (see list, page 24) <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9362 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/09\/Brea-Ca.jpg\" alt=\"Brea Population Growth\" width=\"560\" height=\"420\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/09\/Brea-Ca.jpg 560w, https:\/\/www.lee-associates.com\/orange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2019\/09\/Brea-Ca-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocbj.com\/news\/2019\/sep\/04\/look-north-ocs-fastest-growing-city\/\">Full Article<\/a>. Brea is OC\u2019s 24th-most populous city. It has added about 5,000 people over the prior decade, according to Business Journal data. \u201cOver the last eight years, there\u2019s a lot of new housing coming online,\u201d said Dwight Manley, a rare coin expert and sports agent who is often referred to as \u201cMr. Brea\u201d because of his extensive involvement in the city\u2019s real estate industry. Brea Population Growth is expected to continue.<\/p>\n<p>He is downtown Brea\u2019s largest property owner, and owns buildings including the Gaslight Square and the majority of properties in that area. \u201cWe have this unique place with the hills and we\u2019re in the center of Southern California.\u201d Manley pointed to new housing projects like La Floresta and Central Park Village that are coming online.
