Lee & Associates Welcomes Two Industry Veterans to Pennsylvania Executive Team
─Gary Nalbandian and Brad Swidler to Serve as Principals─
Mechanicsburg, Pa. (July 31, 2019) – Lee & Associates, a national full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm, recently announced the addition of two industry veterans to its team of professionals officed in Central Pennsylvania. Gary Nalbandian and Brad Swidler will both serve as principals at the firm. Nalbandian will focus his efforts on retail brokerage sales and leasing, while Swidler will be responsible for commercial retail and industrial sales and leasing, as well as investment sales.

Nalbandian and Swidler both come to Lee & Associates from NAI CIR, a brokerage firm founded by Nalbandian in 1970. While at NAI CIR, Nalbandian was a mentor to John Van Buskirk, SIOR, the co-founder of Lee & Associates of eastern Pennsylvania.
“Gary and Brad bring experience and client relationships that will augment our thriving industrial practice, and that are foundational in our establishment and expansion of retail, office, investment sales, and consulting services throughout the region,” stated David Grove, managing director. With responsibility for recruiting new talent, in addition to operations and business development, Grove added, “these key hires are reflective of our successful execution on targeted growth plans along multiple service-line offerings.”
With over 50 years of real estate banking and finance experience, Nalbandian specializes in multiple key business lines including sales and leasing of commercial and industrial properties, project development in the retail sector, planning consultancy, acquisition of municipal and zoning approvals, and financing of commercial properties. In his new role, he will focus not only on leasing and sales, but as a leader and mentor to the company’s team of up-and-coming agents, as well as its established platform of senior associates.
In addition to NAI CIR, Gary also served as the founder, chairman, president and CEO of Metro Bank, a three-billion-dollar asset bank with 34 offices across the region. He earned his B.A. from Penn State University, and is a licensed real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He also sits on the boards of several organizations and is a member of multiple real estate and finance organizations.
Swidler brings 25 years of commercial, retail and industrial sales and leasing real estate experience to Lee & Associates from NAI CIR, where he successfully negotiated transactions on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 companies and private investors. He has brokered various transactions for retail stores, restaurants, car dealerships and laundromats. Swidler earned a degree in Real Estate and Finance from the John L. Grove College of Business, Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, and is a licensed real estate agent in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He also is a member of several real estate organizations.
