MIAMI, Florida\u2014September 1, 2020\u2014Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services<\/strong><\/a> announces the lease of approximately 103,356 SF of Class A Industrial space within First Industrial Realty Trust<\/strong>\u2019s First Sawgrass Commerce Center located at 6301 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL 33073.<\/p>\n

The new construction, freestanding warehouse space in Coconut Creek was secured by tenant BGI Group, Inc<\/strong> (dba US Cabinet Depot<\/strong>) for a long-term lease with an impressive tenant improvement package that included turnkey office and showroom space, LED lights throughout and dock packages for all the dock height loading doors. The building itself features 18 dock height loading doors, 32 foot clear ceiling height, and ESFR sprinklers. The property is in an excellent centralized location close to the Sawgrass Expressway which gives access to Florida\u2019s Turnpike and South Florida\u2019s intricate highway system to better serve the entire Southeast Florida market and reach all South Florida\u2019s major cargo ports.<\/p>\n

US Cabinet Depot is headquartered near Atlanta, Georgia, and was established in 2012 selling their cabinetry to both dealers and the public across the country and in Canada. Securing an operations arm in South Florida was essential to the company\u2019s expansion efforts including several new facilities having opened in other markets through Lee & Associates\u2019 representation. The latest South Florida installment will enable the company to more easily service the Southeastern United States and allow for their local dealers to pick up directly at the warehouse, as well as to leverage South Florida\u2019s strong global trade connections with the Latin Americas, the Caribbean and other key international import\/export trade markets.<\/p>\n

The successful lease negotiation by Lee & Associates for several US Cabinet Depot facilities across the nation is a true testament to the strength of the cross-market collaboration that is built into the firm\u2019s national platform.
