The\u00a0recently completed three-story, 590K SF <strong>Prologis Georgetown Crossroads<\/strong> industrial multistory warehouse in Seattle\u2019s Georgetown neighborhood will soon be joined by three more multistory warehouses in <strong>New York City<\/strong> and one in <strong>San Francisco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>\u201cAs a population, we have increasingly high expectations of almost immediate delivery of e-commerce items,\u201d <span style=\"color: #999999\">CBRE<\/span> Seattle\u00a0Senior Vice President <span style=\"color: #999999\">Andrew Hitchcock<\/span> said in a statement. \u201cDensely populated cities with high land values will continue to see a fundamental shift towards multistory warehouses in an effort to develop modern facilities as close to the population as possible.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Multistory warehouses are more common in densely populated parts of<strong> Europe<\/strong> and <strong>Asia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>\u201cIn the U.S., they are an emerging trend that may only take hold in the most densely populated metropolitan areas,\u201d <span style=\"color: #999999\">CBRE<\/span> Global Head of Industrial &amp; Logistics Research <span style=\"color: #999999\">David Egan<\/span> said in a statement.\u00a0 \u201cWe might need to see some additional adaptations that are common in Asia and Europe, such as smaller delivery trucks, which allow for tighter ramps, and, in turn, smaller building footprints.\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bisnow.com\/seattle\/news\/industrial\/conditions-in-seattle-ripe-more-multistory-warehouses-91090\">Bisnow<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/Outpatient Centers Continue To Top Healthcare List: https:\/\/floridamedspace.com\/outpatient-centers-continue-to-top-healthcare-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">View Our Industrial Listings<\/a><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Multistory warehouses are becoming more common in densely populated metropolitan areas.
