Scannell Properties, a privately held and nationally recognized real estate development and investment firm, announced that it has recently broken ground at a site in the I-20 West submarket for the construction of a 159,377 SF industrial development.

Factory Shoals Logistics Center, located at 7520 Factory Shoals Road in Austell, Georgia, is a state-of-the-art infill facility that provides local and regional warehouse/distribution users with immediate access to Metro Atlanta. The facility is located in the Six Flags Opportunity zone which allows companies to take advantage of the state’s highest job tax credit. Key logistics support offerings in the area include FedEx, the new UPS regional distribution hub at Charlie Brown Airport, and the Austell Norfolk Southern rail intermodal yard.

The center is expected to be completed in Q4 2019. The facility will feature 32’ clear height, ESFR sprinklers, 118 auto parking spaces, and a loading area of 37 dock high doors and 2 drive-in doors.
