LEE IN THE NEWS: Chinese E-Commerce Company Leases Warehouse Space Near Atlanta

(May 12, 2021 ) Starmerx, a Chinese company that specializes in cross-border e-commerce, is opening a new warehouse in greater Atlanta.

The company reached a deal with The Silverman Group for 135,937 square feet at 7550 Wood Road, a 271,875-square-foot building completed last year in Douglasville, Georgia. Starmerx is splitting the property with supermarket chain, Pathmark, and with the deal brings the property to fully leased.

The property is the third building constructed within the Bright Star Logistics Center, a planned five-building park that at full build-out is expected to total 2.8 million square feet. The two remaining buildings are build-to-suit offerings totaling 1.275 million square feet and 500,400 square feet, according to CoStar information. The park is located 1.7 miles from Interstate 20 and a little more than 20 miles west of Atlanta.
