LEE IN THE NEWS: Second Deal of 1,119 Acres for Aubrey Corporation Closes, Advancing Vision for Legacy, Environmental Stewardship & Growth in Bartow County

Project Remi-87

(ATLANTA) – Lee & Associates is pleased to announce the second major transaction on behalf of The Aubrey Corporation—the sale of 1,119 acres to Georgia Stone— marking continued progress toward the company’s three-part goal: preserving the Aubrey family’s legacy, prioritizing environmental stewardship, and stimulating long-term economic growth in Bartow County, Georgia.

This milestone follows the previously announced joint venture with Hines, involving the co-development of 2,390 acres into Aubrey Village—a forward-thinking mixed-use project that combines industrial, residential, and retail uses with extensive green space, trail systems, and community amenities.

The newly closed transaction with Georgia Stone unlocks a strategic portion of land integral to the broader master-planned vision, reinforcing The Aubrey Corporation’s commitment to responsible land stewardship and smart long-term development. The overall project is designed to meet both immediate and future needs of the region—creating jobs, infrastructure, and housing, while honoring the values of the Aubrey family and protecting the area’s natural resources.

Jim Ramseur of Lee & Associates – Atlanta represented The Aubrey Corporation in the transaction and continues to serve as managing consultant for the commercial and residential components of the development. Ramseur will continue to guide the project’s next phases as Aubrey Village moves toward groundbreaking, anticipated in late 2025 or early 2026.
