PROFILE

Josh Simon currently serves as the President and Managing Principal of the Washington D.C. office for Lee & Associates. Mr. Simon has nearly 15 years of commercial brokerage experience, beginning his career with a mixed use development firm prior to joining Grubb & Ellis Company in their Northern Virginia office. Most recently Mr. Simon was a Partner at NAI affiliate KLNB where he headed up their Office Leasing and middle market Investment Divisions.

Aside from leading the firm with its strategic initiatives, Mr. Simon focuses in middle market investment sales, specializing in development related transactions. Josh Simon has sold in excess of $400m in his career, having been involved in a number of notable development deals across the region. Those include a 280,000 SF mixed use development site in Arlington, a 270,000 SF residential development site in Reston, a 130,000 SF mixed use development site in Alexandria, an 80,000 SF office to residential conversion in Alexandria, a 60,000 SF office conversion in Washington DC, and a 6 acre townhouse development in Reston, to name a few.

Josh Simon has assisted both Institutional and Private ownership groups, having worked with the likes of Prudential, Wells Fargo, Toll Brothers, C-III Capital Partners, MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), CAS Riegler, Avanti Holdings Group, Rooney Properties, Nicholas Development, Capital Investment Advisors, Pathway Senior Living, SC Herman and Associates, among many others.

A graduate of Miami University, Josh Simon currently resides in Alexandria VA with his wife and two children.
