Lee & Associates promotes two industrial brokers to assistant vice president

Lee & Associates New Jersey has promoted two industrial brokers to the role of assistant vice president, the Elmwood Park-based firm announced Tuesday.

In a news release, the company said Joseph Komitor and William Ziegler joined its team in 2021 and 2019, respectively. Both started as associates in the industrial brokerage division and are among several recent personnel moves by the firm, as it continues to expand in the state.

“Rewarding outstanding performance is critical to our success as an organization that prioritizes growth from within,” said Jason Lynch, a principal with Lee & Associates. “Joe and Will exemplify the caliber of professionals who are helping us take our industrial brokerage platform — and the company — to a new level.”

Komitor, who assists with private and institutional agency leasing, site selection, tenant representation and property acquisition and disposition in New Jersey and throughout the Northeast, has been involved in more than 1 million square feet of transactions during his tenure with the firm, the news release said. He holds a bachelor’s in communication from Kean University and is currently pursuing a Certified Commercial Investment Member designation.

He’s also a member of NAIOP New Jersey and the Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association and a volunteer with the American Diabetes Association, while he has been active in local fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since 2008.

“I enjoy being part of an organization that provides the resources and mentoring to support professional development and encourages entrepreneurship,” Komitor said. “As a broker, I am not defined by one asset class or geographic location. Our entire team works collaboratively to put together deals whenever and wherever they can be made.”

Ziegler specializes in landlord and tenant representation in northern New Jersey, marketing properties and partnering with other brokers to secure tenants for landlord clients. He earned a bachelor’s in business administration from Ramapo College of New Jersey’s Anisfield School of Business and is also an IOREBA member.

“From the company founders to the newest employees, everyone here fosters a sense of community around the common goal of growing the business,” Ziegler said. “Senior leadership has supported and guided me since I started here, and this promotion is reflective of the hard work and collective accomplishments of my entire team.”
