The owner of a Perth Amboy industrial building has scored a new tenant, inking a 250,000-square-foot lease deal with a growing freight transportation services provider.

According to Lee & Associates, which arranged the lease at 1 Buckingham Ave., the undisclosed user will relocate from Union County to support its expansion and greater distribution efficiency. The 407,700-square-foot property is now fully occupied, the brokerage team said, reflecting continued demand for quality facilities and the site’s location near the New Jersey Turnpike, Interstate 287 and other key corridors.

Claudia Ganas, Monica Franco, Ana Carolina De Araujo and Ryan Mojares of Lee & Associates’ New Jersey team represented the landlord, MayPerth LLC. Yitzi Jachimowitz of Eretz Realty represented the tenant.

“This transaction was a true collaborative effort, with each party bringing expertise, responsiveness and a shared commitment to moving the deal forward,” Ganas said. “The landlord worked closely with the tenant to accommodate its specific warehouse requirements, while the property’s proximity to key ports and major highways provided the location and distribution efficiencies the company was seeking.”
