ORANGE COUNTY, CA – September 25, 2018 – Lee & Associates, the largest broker-owned commercial real estate firm in North America, is pleased to announce the recent sale of the Builders Exchange Building, located at 200 N. Main Street in Santa Ana, CA. The property was purchased by the Swinerton Builders, for a purchase price of $6,600,000.
Three principals of Lee & Associates Orange joined forces to represent the seller of the ± 34, 000 SF, two-story, historic office building, known as the Builders Exchange Building. The team included Marshal Vogt of the office’s internal, Office Advisory Group, Jack Haley, and Greg Diab, who altogether have 30+ years of commercial real estate experience.
“After a lengthy marketing campaign, we were able to match the ideal building to the perfect buyer,” said Vogt. “It’s always neat to be able to see these old buildings reinvented with the next generation of entrepreneurs and business owners.”
The Builders Exchange Building was built in 1928, and the building was last sold in 2011. The property is in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana at the corner of Main St and 2nd St. Swinerton Builders will be relocating to the Santa Ana building and plan a complete interior renovation for their Orange County headquarters.
