HAWTHORN/CARSON, Calif. – November 2, 2016 – The Orange & Long Beach Offices of Lee & Associates negotiated both sides of two leases for industrial plants for AST Sportswear, Inc. totaling 139,800 square feet, located in Hawthorne and Carson, California. Doug Himes of Lee & Associates Orange represented the tenant AST Sportswear, Inc. and Terry Evans of Lee & Associates Long Beach represented the landlord, Elmar Plastics. AST Sportswear plans to resume operations at the former American Apparel’s dying and finishing plants. The deal will enable the clothing manufacturer “to bring virtually all of its dyeing volume in-house,” creating about 120 jobs, according to AST.
