Colleen Carey and Pasadena Rotary Centennial Gala – A Successful Combination

Pasadena Now released a wonderful article on the 100 years of service by Pasadena Rotarians that was celebrated at their Centennial Ball event on October 19, 2019. The event was a success with more than 200 guests raising close to $200,000 to help fund their community service projects such as Shop with a Cop, Dan Stover Music Contest, Teachers of Excellence and their annual Community Grants to Pasadena Non Profits. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will also fund a new kitchen renovation project at Pasadena’s Union Station Homeless Services Adult Center.
Lee & Associates – Pasadena’s own Founding Principal, Colleen Carey, is a Pasadena Rotarian and co-chaired this event. She volunteered her time since January to approach Rotarians and the public seeking the donations which were raised.
“Membership in Pasadena Rotary for the past 10 years and getting to know the other committed members of this fine organization, as I have worked alongside them to make Pasadena a better place, has been a wonderful experience,” said Colleen Carey.
