Lee & Associates Pasadena’s Colleen Carey Brokers $2.3 million sale of Xiem Clay Center on Lake Ave in Pasadena, CA

Colleen Carey, Founding Principal at Lee & Associates – Pasadena, with 
20+ years in the industry, brokered the sale of the property that is home to The Xiem Clay Center located at 1561-1565 N. Lake Avenue in the city of Pasadena, California. Successfully representing the seller, Colleen sold this 5,330 square foot commercial property sold for $2,300,000.
The seller, Brian Fees, also owned the Xiem Clay Center business operating at the site which was also sold during this transaction. This was Colleen’s second real estate transaction with Brian. She met Brian when she sold him the property in 2002. Following his acquisition of the property in late 2002, Brian completely renovated the property which had previously been an industrial cleaning supplies distribution center. 
He and Kevin Nguyen opened Xiem in 2003 following the completion of the renovation of the site. Xiem comprises a modern ceramics studio providing an education center for the ceramic arts, a membership driven ceramics studio and a fine art ceramics gallery. It is one of the premier ceramics studios in all of Los Angeles and will continue to operate from this location under the new ownership.
The buyer was represented by Stephen Azadian of Town & Country Realty and is a private investor. She has signed a lease with the new owner of Xiem who is operating the Clay Center and intends to continue to expand on the success of the center.
