Lee & Associates – North San Diego County Completes $5.7 Million Lease in San Diego on Behalf of CED Greentech
SAN DIEGO, Calif.—May 2, 2016—Lee & Associates, one of the largest national commercial real estate firms, has completed a seven year lease for the industrial site located at 9190 Activity Road in San Diego, California. The 83,520 square-foot building is comprised of approximately 14% office space and sits on 6.25 acres of land.
Greg Pieratt and Alex Weiss of Lee & Associates – North San Diego County represented the tenant, Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED Greentech), in the transaction. CED Greentech is the nation’s largest electrical supply distribution network, with over 500 locations throughout the country. This location will be used as the warehousing and supply facility and office for its Southern California Division.
CED Greentech leased the entire site, including an 83,520 square foot facility with dock-high bay doors and approximately 14% office. The building sits on 6.25 acres, offering tremendous vehicle circulation, parking and material staging. The lease is valued at approximately $5,716,604.
“We are excited to have secured this property for CED given the lack of supply of large, functional industrial property in central San Diego. As rates continue to rise in San Diego, this will prove to be a good long term lease for CED.” noted Pieratt.
“The property’s unique proximity to Interstate 15 allows CED Greentech to reach its clients efficiently, which was a top priority,” added Weiss. “In a market with few availabilities for larger square-footage sites, the Activity building was an ideal fit for CED Greentech.”
