Lee & Associates – North San Diego County Completes $1.54 Million Lease on Behalf of Breakfast Republic in Encinitas
ENCINITAS, Calif.—October 5, 2016—Lee & Associates, one of the largest national commercial real estate firms, has completed a ten-year lease on behalf of Breakfast Republic.
Breakfast Republic, a San Diego hotspot, is known for serving American classics with a twist. Its website boasts breakfast innovations such as Oreo pancakes, chicken wing breakfast bowls and s’mores French toast. Additionally, the breakfast destination has tapped into San Diego’s growing craft beer scene, offering a list of 20 rotating beers on tap and available to complement their dishes.
Breakfast Republic’s Encinitas location, located at 251 El Camino Real, is the first North San Diego County location and joins existing BR locations in North Park and Liberty Station. A fourth location in Carmel Valley is set open soon.
The 3,500 square-foot space is located in the Villa Encinitas Plaza, which serves as neighborhood center to residents of Cardiff by the Sea and Encinitas. The value of the lease is approximately $1,540,745.
Bo Havlik and Victor Aquilina of Lee & Associates – North San Diego County represented the tenant, Breakfast Republic, in the transaction. The landlord, Villa Encinitas Plaza Partnership, Ltd, was represented by Malinda Louie of CFI.
“Breakfast Republic has thrived in neighborhoods where locals seek a hip and unique alternative to standard breakfast options,” explained Aquilina. “We chose this location in Encinitas because of its similar demographics to its two senior establishments in North Park and Liberty Station. We expect to see the restaurant draw the same patronage and popularity from North County residents seeking these same elements.”
