Santa Barbara, Calif. – February 15, 2018 – Lee & Associates has completed a 2,931-square-foot lease of prime restaurant space in Downtown Santa Barbara. Christi Vior with the Santa Barbara office represented the Landlord in the transaction.
The restaurant and bar space is located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, across from the Paseo Nuevo Shopping Mall, with a patio backing to De La Guerra Plaza. The prime retail space was leased to Bibi Ji Restaurant, owned by chef Jessi Singh and partner Jennifer Singh. The Singhs are partnering with Rajat Parr, award-winning sommelier and winemaker.

Chef Jessi Singh of Babu Ji in San Francisco and New York is teaming up with winemaker Rajat Parr the James Beard Award-winning sommelier to create an Indian restaurant and wine bar in this town on California’s Central Coast. Two of Parr’s wine labels—Domaine de la Cote and Sandhi—are made nearby in Lompoc and draw from vineyards in the Santa Rita Hills. Both Jessi and Rajat are now living in Santa Barbara and will be donating a portion of proceeds from Bibi Ji to support the Santa Barbara Firefighters Alliance.
