Since 2015, Stren has closed more than 75 commercial real estate sale transactions totaling over $235 million, advising owners and investors on the disposition, acquisition, and recapitalization of office, industrial, retail, and net lease properties, as well as land and high-vacancy assets with redevelopment potential. His career in commercial real estate and investment management spans more than 20 years, and he serves private, institutional, and trust clients.

Before joining Lee & Associates in 2022, Stren spent seven years in the Seattle office of one of the nation's largest publicly-traded commercial real estate brokerage firms. He was the office's #1 agent in office and industrial investment sales in six of those seven years and earned the title of Director in the Office & Industrial Properties Division.

Stren brings an investor's perspective to every assignment. He began his career as a securities analyst at Center Square Investment Management, covering publicly traded REITs in a $1 billion portfolio managed for pensions and foundations. He then worked as an energy infrastructure securities analyst at Harvest Fund Advisors. In 2008, he served on active duty as a Scout Platoon Leader with the Multinational Force and Observers Mission 51 in the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. After returning, he founded Cobalt Ridge Capital, a private investment firm focused on venture capital and real estate. Over his career he has managed portfolios of real estate securities as well as direct equity and debt investments in office, multifamily, and industrial properties. That depth in underwriting and capital markets helps his clients price assets accurately, reach the right buyer pool, and negotiate from a position of strength.

Stren supports the Seattle Aquarium and several academic institutions. He enjoys backcountry skiing, golf, tennis, and time with his family.
