Raleigh brokerage firm expands services with latest hire

Raleigh brokerage firm Lee & Associates has announced its latest expansion with a new hire.
This month, the firm announced it has brought on entitlements and development specialist Dan Koeller as its newest broker.
Koeller will specialize in land, acquisition and disposition and will open up the ability for Lee & Associates to assist on property entitlements and development management, according to the company.
“Dan’s market knowledge of entitlement and development is deeper than most anyone in the brokerage industry,” said Moss Withers, President & Principal of Lee & Associates Raleigh-Durham. “He brings another layer of talent to our growing brokerage team.”
Koeller started his career in the print and direct marketing industry at AMC-Jeep before pivoting from the corporate world into tech and internet industries. After that, he shifted into the real estate and land development sector, where he’s been since.
Koeller was with JMM Consultants before coming to Lee & Associates.
“I’m excited to join Lee & Associates, as I’ve been familiar with their entrepreneurial style and ability to adapt to market conditions, leading to their success in meeting client demands,” Koeller said.
Over his career, he’s contributed to the development and redevelopment of over 4,000 lots and over 1,000 apartment units in the Carolinas, according to a release from the company, and helped to raise over $100 Million in equity or financing for projects.
He has been working in the Triangle for over 25 years and is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
The hire is Lee & Associates latest addition to the firm. Over the summer, the firm announced the addition of Chambers Group Raleigh, led by local real estate veteran Jennifer Olevitch-Roberson.
