Experienced Brokers Strengthen Lee & Associates Reach in North Carolina
September 24, 2025 (Raleigh-Durham-Wilmington, NC) – Lee & Associates proudly announces the addition of two experienced brokers to its Raleigh-Durham-Wilmington offices. Alan Kerry will be based out of Wilmington, and MaryAnn Peterson will join the team in Raleigh-Durham. Both bring decades of hands-on experience, deep market knowledge, and proven track records of success in the commercial real estate industry.
Alan Kerry, based in Wilmington, brings over 50 years of expertise across virtually every aspect of the real estate industry, including development, acquisitions, marketing, and operations. His career includes leadership roles at ALCOA Properties, Watt Industries, and a 30-year tenure as President of American Trading Real Estate and Lord Baltimore Properties, overseeing portfolios valued between $300 million $500 million. Alan has managed more than 10 million square feet of commercial real estate and is licensed in North Carolina. He has also served in local government leadership as Chair of the Leland Planning Department and Vice-Chair of the Board of Adjustment.
MaryAnn Peterson joins Lee & Associates Raleigh-Durham after more than 25 years in commercial real estate. Most recently, she was the founder and owner of MAP Commercial Realty, where she successfully closed over $85 million in transactions and served as the preferred broker for one of the largest national fitness franchisees. Her career spans significant accomplishments in leasing, site selection, and property development across a wide portfolio of shopping centers and retail spaces. MaryAnn is a licensed NC Broker-in-Charge, a board member of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR), and a two-time winner of the Triangle Business Journal’s Top Retail Lease award.
