Job Description:
The Marketing Manager is a strategic leader responsible for planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve the company’s objectives and drive growth. This role involves managing a team of marketing professionals, overseeing marketing campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts align with the overall business strategy.
Overview of Duties and Responsibilities:
Tasks will include management of the Marketing team, coordination of marketing information within all software applications; as well as assist in the creation of marketing flyers, tour packages, updating flyers, maps, aerials, photos for any properties/listing managed by brokers. The Marketing Manager will also assist where needed with any other marketing assignments to maintain the consistency in the branding of the Lee & Associates name, and to ensure materials are completed in a timely manner.
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy, including short-term and long-term goals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback.
- Implement strategy, set timelines, and produce results.
- Create and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources for marketing initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and image across all marketing materials and platforms.
- Protect and maintain the brand guidelines and enhance the company brand’s reputation.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity in all marketing practices.
- Manage tasks and collaborate with other marketing team members.
- Manage property availabilities and listings, such as new listings flyers, across multiple commercial real estate websites including CoStar and LoopNet.
- Manage Standard and Premium listings according to company guidelines.
- Assist where needed with any other marketing assignments (tour books, pitch books, placemats, etc.) to maintain consistency in the branding of the Lee & Associates name.
- Maintain and publish agent bios, company photos and other company information via WordPress.
- Work closely with the company’s brokers to develop effective market research material, specific to both existing and potential clients.
- Assist new business development projects by drafting and preparing pitch letters, fact sheets, broker biographies, articles and other marketing material highlighting the company’s strengths and establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with clients.
- Advanced knowledge of Social Media marketing for company branding and integration of marketing materials.
- Able to work closely with 3rd party public relations firm on company advertising, article submissions, award submissions and other assignments.
- Responds to market/research requests from brokers in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Exercises the strictest judgement and appropriate discretion when handling confidential
- Collaborate efforts with marketing team in the creation of a marketing department workbook of instructions (“A How To”) for all software and creative suite products as well as establishing a workflow management for the products or suggesting other possible software to improve efficiency for the team.
- Oversee the team within the Marketing Department to ensure deadlines and turnaround times are met, as previously set by the company and our brokers.
- Perform any other duties as designated by Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrates strong leadership abilities, capable of guiding, assigning tasks, and overseeing a team’s performance
- Proficient in managing multiple projects concurrently, delivering high-quality results within specified timeframes.
- Possesses a deep understanding of both traditional and emerging marketing channels, staying current with industry trends.
- Excellent communication skills, coupled with exceptional organizational abilities.
- Exhibits creative thinking, adapts easily to changes, and fosters innovation in marketing strategies.
- Exercises sound professional judgement and discretion in decision making.
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in areas such as graphic design, web design, social media advertising, email and text marketing, and production.
- Capable of navigating and leveraging various social media platforms effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3+ years’ experience in a managerial role, particularly in commercial real estate.
- Experience with content creation and graphic design.
- Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Suite, MailChimp, and WordPress.
- Organized and resourceful with a proven ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Detail oriented with excellent writing and communication skills.
