June 11, 2026 (Bellevue, WA) – Lee & Associates Pacific Northwest announced today the appointment of Scott Hutchinson as president, effective June 8, 2026. Hutchinson joins Lee & Associates from Glacier Development Company (GDP) and Schuchart Hutchinson, where he serves as president.

Hutchinson succeeds Jim Bowles, co-founder of Lee & Associates Pacific Northwest, who has served as company president since the firm's Seattle launch in 2017. Bowles will transition to the role of co-founder and executive managing director, focusing on strategic company initiatives and business development.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Hutchinson is a well-regarded figure in both the regional commercial real estate community and the broader philanthropic landscape. His family's legacy of civic commitment is exemplified by his grandfather, Dr. William Hutchinson, who founded the globally recognized Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle. In his new role, he will oversee the day-to-day management and strategic growth of the firm's commercial brokerage operations across Washington state.

A longtime commercial brokerage industry veteran, Bowles brings more than 40 years of industry leadership experience, having previously served as regional manager for Cushman & Wakefield, Colliers, and CBRE before co-founding Lee & Associates Pacific Northwest.
