Lee & Associates New Jersey Taps Industry Veteran and Solar Energy Specialist Jeffrey Mark Miller By Betsy Kraat
LITTLE FALLS-—March 23, 2010—Real estate veteran Jeffrey Miller has joined Lee & Associates’ New Jersey office as senior vice president of its industrial division, bringing 30 years of industry experience in real estate brokerage.
Miller has also been named executive vice president of Lee’s newly formed Energy Solutions Group.
Miller, as senior vice president at SBWE, Inc. in Hasbrouck Heights, represented clients including Richmond, VA-based Altria (formerly Philip Morris USA), Oakland, CA-based Dreyer’s/Edy’s Grand Ice Cream, Denver-based ProLogis and San Francisco-based AMB Property Corporation. One of his most notable deals involved the 630,000-sf sale and lease of Melard Manufacturing’s Passaic factory, owned by Michigan-based Masco Corporation, and Melard’s subsequent relocation to Randolph.
Miller is also the principal of Quadrillion RE, a consultancy founded in 2008 that integrates industrial real estate and renewable energy development. Quadrillion RE currently has 5.5 MW of solar projects and over 1.2 million square feet of energy efficiency projects under review. Through Quadrillion RE, Miller hopes to leverage Lee’s broad national reach and bring a “whole building approach” to the entire Lee network, providing a real value-add.
