Lee & Associates Closes $2.4 Million Office Deal in Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—April 10, 2012—Lee & Associates, one of the nation’s leading commercial real estate providers, has closed a $2.48 million deal for a medical office building in Huntington Beach, Calif. The 7,098-square-foot property is located at 9131 Adams Ave.

Allen Basso and Eric Darnell of Lee & Associates’ Irvine office represented the buyer, Harmelback, LLC (Beach Family Doctors Medical Group). The company is comprised of family medicine specialists and currently headquartered in a nearby building in Huntington Beach approximately two miles from Pacific Coast Highway. Lee & Associates Newport Beach’s Dave Romero and Bryan Lysne of Lee & Associates Investment Services Group represented the seller, Michael M. Khatibi.

According to Basso, this was one of only two freestanding buildings to sell in Huntington Beach in the last three years due to lack of supply. “The new location’s proximity to Beach Family Doctors existing facility in the area will allow for maximum operating efficiency,” said Basso. “The property is the perfect size for their needs and boasts a prime location in the heart of their current patient base,” said Basso.
