ONTARIO, Calif.— November 19, 2012 — Launchbaugh Motorsports has announced that Todd Launchbaugh will be driving in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill this December 8th and 9th.  (WWW.NASA25hour.com)  This is the longest endurance race in the world with sports car entries from across the United States and is sanctioned by the National Auto Sport Association (www.NASAProracing.com).   Todd will be driving for Atlanta Motorsports Group in an MX-5 cup car prepared by owner Jason Hoover (www.hooverspeed.net).

Atlanta Motorsports Group (AMG) has had a successful history of winning MX-5 cup car sprint and endurance races.  Todd chose this team largely due to their reputation and for the opportunity to drive with professional racer Todd Lamb (www.toddlamb.com).  AMG has entered three cars for the event with four drivers driving each car.

Todd has entered into multiple 4 and 6 hour endurance races and this is his first entry into “The 25”.  He has been racing sports cars for over 13 years with support from Mazda in their Spec Miata and Pro 7 series for the last 13 years.  His most recent results included a pole, two wins and a track record at the October SCCA-Cal Club Regional event held in October.

This event is celebrating its 10th year as the premier endurance race in the USA and 75 to 80 entries are expected.  Thunderhill Raceway is located in Willows, California.

Todd’s primary sponsor is Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate (www.lee-assoc.com) of which Todd has been a principal and Senior Vice President of for the last 18 years.  Todd’s other sponsors include Right Of Way, Inc. and Iron Canyon Motorsports.
